Haven’t had a bag post in a long time… Guess it’s because I haven’t bought a new bag in a few months, good for me! Plus when it rains for six weeks, you tend to stick with the most weatherproof handbag. At least I do. Anyway, my interest in acquisition has declined substantially.
But in honor of spring threatening to bloom tomorrow, I am finally going to be carrying that bag I bought for spring/summer, the metallic white Botkier. It has so much room inside and to me its best feature is how comfortable it is on my shoulder.
Since my handbag “collection” (I think I have six or seven) is pretty well-rounded, nothing has really tempted me for awhile. Because I am so responsible, right?
But look at this other Botkier!
I know. I probably shouldn’t. Especially since I haven’t gone shopping in ages in preparation for the trip to Chicago next week.
That reminds me, I tried on these $450 Jimmy Choo sandals a few weeks ago, the very first time I have ever walked in anything that expensive. They weren’t bad, but then I realized that I would probably never wear them, and that after a couple hours they would kill me just like any other heels. So, for free, all I have to do is stop by the salon shoe section at Nordstrom every couple weeks, try on some hot shoes, walk around, and I will have actually gained about 80% of the pleasure of owning them just by doing that. Not bad.
