A single white cloud is suspended over the bay like a lost little lamb.
I went outside because I had to, there was much vitamin D to soak up after two months of grey and rain. The streets and sidewalks are full, humming with life, people in t-shirts, people talking about going out tonight, the city is buzzing and ignited and bright.
As I walked I kept scanning the horizons over and over, checking for that curtain of grey waiting to be drawn across us, but the blue continues in all directions.
I went to Sephora to return a body wash that I did not like at all. Then wandered around in Nordstrom, picking up two samples of this perfume that I have been testing on and off for awhile and may actually commit to. And then I found a little lost piece of chocolate in my purse. OH WHAT A DAY.
On my way out of the shopping center I saw that Abercrombie is using live, shirtless male models to entice people into the store. Sheesh. Pass.
Outside I walked all the way back to work, even running into a friend in the middle of the crosswalk, which led to a little stop and chat on the corner. Everyone is in a good mood. The Giants are winning and I will see them tonight. I bought an iced coffee and now I am back at my desk with a couple hours to go. Whitney called me from the road as I was walking around in the sun and I told her it is 70 and perfect here, so get here soon.
Glorious.
