On my lunch break, I took my little 25% off coupon to the Coach store downtown and got this and this. Then I strolled back toward the water, walking on the sunlit side of the road.
I reached the street leading to my office and looking up, I noticed this woman walking toward me, eating some potato chips out of a bag. I saw something fall from her hand as she walked, and thought at first that it was a stray chip, but as I got closer and she passed me, I saw that it was a twenty dollar bill.
It was a semi-crowded sidewalk, but I reached the bill first and picked it up. The forces of evil tempted me for a second, but then I chased the woman down and gave her the money. She seemed surprised and thanked me. I thought about how bummed out I would be if I lost $20 and later on went looking through my pockets, never knowing what happened to it.
If I hadn’t seen who dropped it, I would have kept it, of course. It would have just been lucky found money on the sidewalk. Funny, huh.
My stomach feels better today. But I need to take better care of it I think. I might be eating too much grease or sugar, not sure. I’ve just been too inconsistent about planning and preparing meals lately.
Hopefully someone is coming over tonight to buy my old office chair. Sold the coffee table Monday. The new ottoman gets here tomorrow. That’s your latest furniture update.
Last night I taught myself how to play a full song on guitar, and played it (terribly) a few times while also singing the words. Unfortunately it’s still so hard for me to do that I don’t derive a lot of “pleasure” from it, but once I can do it without thinking about it, I’ll get there.
so maybe one day ill stop by for a look at the ellen tracy 🙂
good job giving the money back. i love when people do that sort of thing for me. like if someone had returned my lost coach wallet. i would have been thrilled!

You should stop by! I am hanging on to it for you.
