It’s mid-August, but this morning as I got ready for work it felt so wintery on our street. It could be the plastic covering half of our windows, sure. Or just the pall of gray that swept across our side of the city.
I wore my black peacoat today. It’s very old and the lining is coming out. The wool is terribly pilled, but from a distance, it still cuts a nice figure and is a nice length on me. I wore black from head to toe.
As I rode the train I listened to my new favorite podcast: NPR shuffle. It’s about 40 minutes long, just the right commute length. It’s basically a sampler of features and interviews from one day of programming. I think it will become a regular on my iPod.
I want to say thanks to Ben for writing to me and suggesting another good podcast to listen to. And also, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to write to me and give feedback and support. It means a lot to me, and I won’t ever take it for granted.
