+ making the apartment smell so nice right now: a dutch oven of Irish potato stew that has been simmering for almost two hours
+ medicine my doc gave me today is on my face, it’s called Finacea, which sounds like one of those ridiculous made up names
+ I love these dishes, picked up four square side plates and four bowls (white) on Sunday when we went shopping.
+ my ex-mole hurts
+ yay for ‘This American Life’ podcasts on iTunes. I also like the daily Indiefeed podcast. Right now I am listening to a song by some band called the Vulturines. It sounds like it’s being sung in Japanese. Or Portugese? Unknown.
vulturines
it’s in spanish,
that song, Chiriguana, is about a town in Columbia where the singer’s mother is from, and she visited there as a teenager for a summer, and the song talks of how time was basically frozen that summer, in a suffering kind of way.
we recently went back to Chiriguana last June, had a good time! Columbia is a great place.
Re: vulturines
