+ I am always amazed at the difference made in my face by just curling my eyelashes and putting on mascara. Nothing else. WTF. Most of the time I don’t wear makeup.
+ It is Brian’s fault that I am now all into watching Heroes. Normally not my cup of tea, but I really like it. More Sulu plsthx.
+ I am so freakin excited by our talk this weekend. It’s all I can think about. God I wish we had done it sooner.
+ Things to not move with: old red IKEA bookcase, dining table and chairs, Brian’s crappy old dresser. Also we have this gigantic armoire, which I love, but… oh maybe we will get a house that has room for it. I would hate to part with it, especially knowing that if we sold it, I would never get back what I spent.
+ I just had some celery and peanut butter that I brought from home. Crunch crunch crunch. Wonder if my cube neighbor was annoyed. I hope not, but then he was the one making all the racket with the Fritos a couple weeks ago.
+ OMG Tuesday crossword. Yay! “German River”, 4 letters…
+ My action items list for my novel is really long. I should take a PTO day this week and work on it. But to be honest I have been sort of waiting to hear more detailed feedback from readers. I’m kind of insane though. I really want someone to tell me what they thought of every single sentence. Ok not really, that would be weird.
+ In a couple of weeks, my group at work is moving up one floor. Our new area is pretty nice, hopefully much quieter, and hopefully will have air conditioning. My cube is always roasting hot all year round. Ugh.
Arno? I’m looking at all of my furniture in anticipation of the move, too. Most of it is Craig’s list, Freecycle, or garbage.
The river was “Saar”. How am I supposed to know that?? Pfft.
rain or snow?
have you made a momentous decision about moving?
Re: rain or snow?
Yeah, did you read my friends-only posts from a couple days ago? We picked rain.
Re: rain or snow?
I sort of remember it sounding like a possibility, but I might have missed it. Maybe I was logged out of LJ that day and didn’t notice.
In any case: great news.
Re: rain or snow?
Thanks Josh. Probably something like last week of Sept, or October 1-ish.
Plus: free house!!
Minus: Poulsbo!!
Clearly one outweighs the other.
Re: rain or snow?
I will admit being happy to hear this news, thinking you will be happy back home-ish… And then we can share some conversation and coffee, in person… You can teach Ruby about handbags, she could call you Auntie Jane… That’s wierd that I said that, isn’t it?
Re: rain or snow?
Heh. I’m excited to see you and meet her! I have red fingernails today, they remind me of you. 😀
Re: rain or snow?
Irony, mine are painted all of five minutes, fire engine red… How is the book today?
Re: rain or snow?
I did some work on some early chapters. Email me if you want a sample…
