I am so fucking bored. So bored that I just joined a shitload of flickr groups. Yay! Stick figures in peril!
Which reminded me that I need to put the camera in my purse and start carrying it around.
Or rather, instead of toting around our kinda pricy camera that Brian and I share, maybe I should buy my own cheaper digicam, something lighter and smaller for just around-the-town snaps. It’s amazing how much digital camera quality has improved since I got my first Elph way back in 2000 or whenever it was.
I am having a very strong Peets coffee right now and it is making me bouncy.
Brenna told me it snowed in (greater) Seattle last night and that made me all excited for some reason. Seattle snow is so harmless. It will never dump 20 inches there.
Tonight I may watch this French movie: “A Very Long Engagement.” It stars Gaspard Ulliel. Il est tres chaud. Au la la. I love French things. I think if I could live in any other country, it would be France. oooh! Or Canada! Which is LIKE France, only with mooses, right?
Ok boredom continues. I guess I will make some LJ icons in photoshop.
“a very long engagement” is a very good movie. i bought it because i liked it so much. plus, i really needed to watch it again after we returned it since i’m not skilled in the ways of the french so i wanted to have another chance to watch it more (since i was so busy reading the first time!).
p.s. i’m doing all these tests and training things for my new job right now but as soon as that calms down a bit i’m going to read your book again and give you more feedback!
Thanks! I keep making changes to it, but I shall explain them to you when I get all your comments đŸ™‚
I really like my Canon powershot a430.. inexpensive, light and small, but with enough features and a kick-ass macro-mode for when I’m feeling tricky. I’ve had it in my bag nearly everyday since last August, and it still works, too!
I think I liked A Very Long Engagement. They were very creative about all of the ways that a person could be killed / injured.
I just bought a (sort of) fancy new camera, but it’s kind of big for carrying around all the time. I didn’t think of this downside when I ordered it from the internet…
exchange it, man.
do you carry a bag of some kind? backpack, messenger?
I wanted a camera that could fit in a small lay-dee’s bag if needed. I got a wee Olympus Stylus 710 “ultra slim” or whatevs. 0.8 inches thick!
