I’ve updated every day this month, so this entry is to keep my streak alive.
I think flickr is almost my favorite website. It should be the new myspace. Why is myspace so popular? It’s badly designed, buggy, tacky, spammy, grotesque, etc. Flickr is cool and lovely and fun and useful. DAMMIT.
I like waking up early on Saturday morning and walking to Cole Street to get coffee. Last time I did that I finished up a book I was reading and was distracted by someone’s kid who kept getting up from their chair and running around the cafe and yelling. This is a phenomenon I had only read about in blogs, but apparently it really happens. Remind me to ask my mom: did you allow that kind of crap when we were little? Yeah I didn’t think so.
Anyway tomorrow I’ll be getting my coffee to go anyway. It will be podcast time. And I may have mentioned this before, but my favorite weekly podcast is a little movie reviews show found on the BBC (you can get it on iTunes). The host is this fella named Mark Kermode. The co-host is a perfect “straight man.” Hilarity ensues.
Ok, to bed. Or “abed,” which the crossword puzzle assures me is a word.
we had the worst rambunctios child drama at the local irish restaurant. we all wanted to kill that child and the parents didn’t even care. they should all be shot with dart guns.
mark k. is now one of my subscriptions!
Like bad bears in Yosemite
they should be darted and relocated to a place where they hopefully won’t create problems. 😛
let me just point out that I would never really kill a child or shoot anyone with dart guns. that said…parents! control your children!
Oh, I understand what you were getting at. The part that sucks is that you don’t even see the parents trying. Maybe they are just so used to it that they can somehow block it out. They’re immune. It’s really quite self-centered.
