I didn’t really do much of anything yesterday and I felt like a slug. We managed to leave the house at 8:00 to go out for dinner in our neighborhood. The fog was so low, so dense, so cold, the hill behind UCSF had disappeared completely into a white shroud. I wished I’d worn my scarf. The wind was blasting into our backs. I am so very glad this is the last freezing cold summer we will have to endure here.
We had dinner at a pizza pub around the corner and watched the Giants thrilling victory, yay.
Right now I am in my PJs and finishing coffee. Breakfast was a bowl of fruit and yogurt and granola. Brian is napping on the sofa. “Batman Begins” is on TV. The acting is so bad. Or maybe it’s the script. Okay it’s just Katie Holmes. She is better off as a robot than an actor. Oh wait.
Anyway I’m making up for yesterday’s laying around by getting out of here soon. Going to take a long walk out in the frosty, foggy air, get some cat food, do some writing stuff. I am stuck on something right now. My way of getting through it is to write it over and over and then decide which version is the best one.
