Laptop is running out of battery power but I just wanted to write that we have arrived at my dad’s. The drive went very smoothly. The cats were adorable, napping in their carriers. Stopped in Olympia for coffee, just for the hell of it. We drove over into Bremerton, looking at the points of the evergreen trees and the high gray blanket of clouds covering the sky.

We had lasagna for dinner and now watching Flight of the Conchords OnDemand. I can’t wait to spend this week just chilling out. No to-do lists, no stress, no packing, no freaking out. We did it.

Then on Friday the moving truck shows up with our stuff, and we load it into storage.
