If I still had a job, I could buy these expensive shoes
At least I know my limits. No more money coming in, no more funtime shopping. When I get a new job someday, I’ll buy myself some cute shoes or something.
Today I walked into “downtown” and checked it out. It seemed highly focused on tourism: cheesy gift shoppes and norwegian themed things and local art galleries with blown glass and wind chimes and t-shirts and crap like that. I found one possibly cool coffee shop and a promising bakery. Oh and a great used bookstore where I purchased a novel I have never heard of.
On the agenda tomorrow: go to the mall with Brian and switch to his phone plan and get a new phone, yay. What else? Um. Play with the cats, hope it’s not raining too hard.
those shoes make me angry b/c all the mags are telling us it’s what’s what this fall. I’m sorry but where am I to wear those? Obviously those are the ‘comfortable’ shoes in comparison to the platforms, meanwhile, they’re giving us. I’m not getting fall looks.
Really? I guess you’re right, lace up pumps or whatever. I would actually like them better not in patent leather. I can handle patent in bags, not as much in shoes. Just reminds me of tap dancing class when I was six. I only have one patent leather bag though, and don’t plan on getting another.
Yeah I am hating the 5″ platforms and especially the open-toed boots. wtf. There is a lot of crazy stuff allegedly “in” for fall. I am sticking with the brown wool coat I got last fall and my black trench coat and the usual other clothes. Which makes sense since I don’t have an income anymore.
They are darn fancy, I like `em and yet will not buy them, or anything else similar… I am boring when it comes to shoes, I guess. You will see, my shoes are plain.
Not a fan of patent in a shoe, either… And I no longer have any patent leather bags.
