I love how the hostesses/salespeople get so worked up into a frenzy over the tackiest shit imaginable.

Today these women were gushing over, ishityounot, bedazzled purple velvet track suits. Bedazzled. Purple. Velvet. Track suits. Or maybe, loungewear? I don’t know. But according to them, they are the HOT fashion item to wear this fall, ESPECIALLY when covered with little penguins! Penguins are in!!

My favorite is the jewelery though. Just now I was enjoying this long monologue about a 14k gold and mother of pearl pendant that featured an “inspirational angel.” This is THE Christmas gift this year! And hold the phone, folks! It’s only 7550 $3499! $2999!! With 12-month financing!

The best part is how the hostess continually acts like she is receiving a message from her producer — what?? what? etc — and lo! The price has just dropped another $500! Wow, that was unexpected!
