I’m gonna caucus. I’ve never had an opportunity to caucus before, why not. Are you registered and ready to vote?
I can’t bitch out the Sec of State hereabouts, given that most of the SF Municipal govt. pages looked like geocities sites. Can’t spite the rubes when you are not in fact from Fancytown.
IN OTHER NEWS: the plans have been put together for a Saturday get-together at the Honeyhole (www.honeyhole.com) at 5:30 with Calamity Jon Morris. Will you and Brian be able to join us?
That link goes to a porn site! now everyone at my new job is going to think I’m a pervert.
My total bad! Sorry Jane’s employers!
It’s THEhoneyhole.com. Gee, who’d a thunk “honeyhole” would have associations other than tasty sandwiches served with beer?
Think of the nastiest and/or most ridiculous euphemism for female (or male) anatomy and I guarantee it’s the name of a website.
ANYWAY we will let you know Saturday if we can make it, depending on how Brian’s feeling — he returns from SF tomorrow.
No wonder Wang Computing never wanted the domain name.
That’s fine, give a holler when Brian’s back either way. We’re all residents now, so we can always plan another git tigither for later in the month if Brian’s wiped this time.
P.S. I’m very excited about your new job and I think about it every time I watch “The Wire” now that it’s got a storyline set in a newsroom.
OMG, I just got the GIFs to run, holy guacamole, even by the hideous myspace aesthetic, those are eye poison. Somebody in the statehouse had an idiot nephew with a Paint program in need of a gig.
That’s funny.
On Tuesday night my aunt from Seattle emailed me about how she’s caucusing on Saturday. She was on the fence as far as the primary goes and literally said, “Sell me on Obama!”
So I did.
I sent her a 4-page email outlining his plans for a transparent and ethical government, and explained how his immigration policy differs little from Hillary’s but comes backed with heightened focus on civil rights.
She was sold.
So I think that’s 2 more votes for Obama in King County assuming her and my uncle were both on the fence.
