I sent a box of treats to a friend today and when I got home, there was a box of treats waiting for me in the mailbox. Ert sent me a book, a pound of very pungent coffee beans, and ooooh! a bag of miette cookies! I do miss miette.

i feel that i have been hearing of ert since 1999 or so.
i love that about reading your stuff for so long.
She’s from Portland, originally, ya know. I have been trying to convince her to move back there but she just started a new job in SF so it may be a while yet. But she visits all the time, I am trying to see if next time she is there I can manage to be there too!
