Near my workplace, there is a “dog bakery”, where no, they do not bake dogs, but they do bake cookies and cake and treats just for dogs.
Yesterday I asked my coworker Matt about good dog parks in Seattle for when we bring Kona over here for a visit.
I am going to become one of those dog people, aren’t I?
The dog park at Magnuson park is my favorite. It is huge, all fenced, has a dog swimming hole, and there are several separate play areas. One area is even fenced off for small/shy dogs.
People love the off-leash area at Marymoor Park, but it isn’t completely fenced and my dog is good at escaping shoddy fencing.
Here is a useful link listing all off-leash areas in/near Seattle:

How’s life with Kona? How’re the cats taking it? How big is she? Do you still think she’s got a lot of GSD in her?
She’s great. So cute and playful and happy. Today she met my dad’s middle-aged Westie and they had a great time chasing in the yard.
Not sure of her weight, but I can lift her, so maybe 30lbs? She’ll be 6 months old on July 1. I think she will get a little bit larger by the time she is grown up.
She has that GSD face and ears, but I found out she is mostly a rare Taiwanese breed called the Formosan Mountain Dog, which seems like a pretty cool doggie.
I am sorry to read about Ash passing away, by the way.
Oh and the cats are getting used to her, and giving her little lessons in good manners.
You’re just going to have to take up camping
It’s the only way the dog can possibly get enough exercise.
Resistance is futile.
