I’ve been using Vaseline as my makeup remover for the past couple days. It really works, and it’s cheap. It’s allegedly what actual models use. Small pot: 97 cents.
Pretty good birthday today, all things considered. Brian gave me a pair of gorgeous, huge, black pearl earrings — the dangley kind, not studs. I love them. I received so many kind messages from all kinds of pals. I had my makeup done at the Chanel counter and she made me look gawjus (though I did need lots of Vaseline for those smoky eyes tonight). Brian took me to dinner and we had a wonderful time. Lemon custard tart for dessert, and it even had a candle. Y’all know what I wished for.
Came home to a few nice presents from family and friends, and a dog who was as usual overjoyed to see us. I need sleep. I still feel stuffed.
happy delayed birthday wishes to you! mine was ruined by my mother-in-law being here. ugh. better not come this year for my b-day!
Happy Birthday!
Tyra banks also likes Vaseline. Maybe a little too much.
I’ve never seen so mnay people excited over Vaseline before. It’s a little frightening, especially the rolling on the floor with legs in the air shit.
Yeah, this has to be one of those mass-delusional things, where people are excited because their leader and other people are excited. They must have been so hyped up when they passed out the boxes that it could have been a bottle of water and they would be excited.
Because I think the “normal” reaction would have been, “Oh, it’s an 89 cent jar of Vaseline. Gee… thanks. … I thought we were going to get a car like on Oprah.”
It looks like a lot of them are just laughing, like “WTF is this?”
This was lovely to hear…
Happy belated Birthday!
