Okay I have figured out who these American Idol contestants remind me of.
I have such a love/hate relationship with this show. I wish my husband felt the same way but he just hates it. He hates a lot of stuff that I like. Oh well.

This is the first time I’ve ever watched the early part of the series. It’s all very excessive and kind of confusing. Last night, in particular.
Yeah. So much of it makes me mad, and the machinations of the producers are extremely transparent. Like last night, Seacrest lamenting the fact that two friends were put into the position of competing against each other, and I’m thinking yeah, that was the show’s doing, your boss, the producers, don’t act like you’re not on the side of management, pal.
If Sweet Dee was actually on American Idol I’d watch!
agreed!
I must say, I don’t like reality TV like that.. People have a hard enough time separating TV from real life, and reality tv blurs the lines anymore.. people go home, watch others screw each other over for a few hours, then go to sleep and then the office. It’s like a bad influence, you know? Makes people think it’s OK to do whatever it takes to ‘win’ at something. Just my two pesos, anyhows.
Also! #1 looks like Matt Smith, a British actor who’s becoming the 11th Doctor Who. Just a bit younger. And #2 is a dead ringer for Ewan McGregor. Same crooked smile, eyes, the resemblance is rather surprising.
that is ewan macgregor.
Hahah.. I’m sorry, I should have had the big cup of coffee this morning.. hopefully that’ll be my dumb mistake for the day..
well you are not alone i will likely vote tonight. i think it has to do with the fact that we enjoy singing ourselves and yet live the lives of regular people. maybe just a little living vicariously through others. i don’t know maybe that’s just me.
