At six o’clock this morning, I peed on a stick. I smiled as I watched the twin pink bands light up as fiercely as the magenta sunset that I would later watch on my way home from work. I climbed back into bed with Brian. Looked at his scruffy cheek and woke him up. Made sure he was actually awake; I wanted him to be the very first person to hear me say these words: “I’m pregnant.”
Keep your fingers crossed for us.
holy cow! fingers crossed! yay! kinda brings a tear to my eye! it’s weird how we don’t know each other in reality but seriously dood, this thrills me, i’m so happy for you!
Thank you so much!! And I sincerely hope that I see the same news from you soon. I had that HSG test too, I think it was back in April or May? Confirmed that I didn’t have a blockage, and that my uterus is apparently crazy tipped.
I didn’t say in my post but I will add here that this conception is via an intera-uterine insemination. Medical science!! And only $40 out of pocket. Have you tried the IUI route yet?
we haven’t gotten there quite yet. thanks to the surgery it delayed anything happening for a long time due to that being the reason according to doctors although i didn’t have it the first year we tried so uh…yeah. ah well!
Oh wow! Fingers crossed.
