Have to remember to wear earrings so my holes don’t close up. I wear studs because Audrey can’t grab them.

There was a period in the 90s when for several years I did not wear earrings at all. I am not sure what the deal was. I guess I just didn’t own any. My jewelry was a flat silver band for my right ring finger, and the occasional cheap metal necklace. Oh and studded dog collars/chains. Not really “jewelry” though.

Anyway, just put in my nice pearl studs. I love them.

Freya is watching cartoons. Her cheeks are rosy because of a low fever. She also has a cough. I am a nervous mommy because up until now she hasn’t been too sickly in general. On a related note: she started pre-school in September.

Audrey is still asleep, oh boy. Such a good sweet fat baby she is. Had her weighed yesterday and she is in the 50th percentile for weight — a number Freya has yet to hit.

They are different girls for sure. I wonder how else they will be different. Audrey has already taken a great interest in food. Last night she tried mashed avocado and enjoyed it. She’s been staring at our food for weeks now, it’s time for tastes.
