so tired

I have joined my husband in SF through the weekend. It is very strange being back again. I have felt like I am having a dream that I live here again, especially when taking the N-Judah today. But I haven’t had much sleep. Today he went to work and I walked all over town. It’s […]

Afterward, I wandered around in the mild sunshine, and ended up at this chocolate cafe called Bittersweet. I had the richest, bestest mocha ever. + Boy am I glad our trip was last week and not this week. Looks like flying is about to get 1000 times shittier. Oh but I forgot, panicking is great for the economy! Especially when the waves of fear generated by the news broadcast are broken up every seven minutes by soothing, cheerful, glorious […]

solstice

It is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Here in SF it is about 85 degrees, hot and windless. I walked around a bit after lunch to run some errands and these Ben & Jerry’s employees were handing out free full-size ice cream cones on the corners near my office. Wonderful.

midday

I have NOTHING to do at work right now. There’s a big dumb meeting I could be sitting in on (it’s all-day) but frankly the content doesn’t really concern my actual job. So instead I’m sitting here working up the focus to maybe tinker with my book. The best compliment I have received so far […]
